FLOYD COUNTY—One man died Friday night in a car crash on Interstate 265 Eastbound in Floyd County, according to New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey.
Kevin Ruhl, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. The single car crash occurred at 8:30 p.m. near the 2-mile marker.
The New Albany Police Department, New Albany Fire and Indiana State Police responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the NAPD, and police have not yet determined the cause.
No additional information about the crash will be released at this time, according to Bailey.
All lanes of traffic were closed following the crash, but they reopened around 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to newsgathering partner WAVE3 News.
