Pet of the Week: Meet Hercules

Picture this: you’re sitting at home on your couch, bored, wishing for some sort of something that will shake up your life and whisk you away. Hercules will be that gust of wind in your sails that will pick you up, get you on your feet, then probably pull you as hard as he can into anything and everything. He’s about a-year-old and has the wonder that comes with a youthful spirit. Hercules stumbled into The New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter as a stray but now he’s looking for a family that will share his love for exploring and promise to keep up with him. He’s a large boy who doesn’t know his own size and doesn’t understand why you wouldn’t want to wake up (or for that matter go to bed) to his slobbery face kisses every single day. He’s a very excitable playmate who tends to overwhelm his doggy friends so he wants to meet any potential doggy housemates to make sure they can hang on his level. Every smell is the best thing, every sight is the best thing, and every step is a new path that leads to new adventures. So, if you want to meet this lovable goofball who’s never had a bad day in his life, go to nafcanimalshelter.org to fill out an adoption application. He’s already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $80 plus applicable licensing fees.
