CLARK COUNTY — MAC Construction will close two ramps to and from Interstate 65 southbound in Clark County this weekend for concrete repair work. Affected ramps are I-65 southbound to I-265 westbound and Ind. 265 westbound to I-65 southbound.
The ramp from I-65 southbound to I-265 westbound will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning the evening of Friday, July 19, to the morning of Monday, July 22. Lane closures are planned during daytime hours throughout the weekend.
Motorists can detour onto Veterans Parkway (Exit 5) to I-65 northbound to I-265 westbound.
The ramp from Ind. 265 westbound to I-65 southbound will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, July 19, through 6 a.m. Monday, July 22.
Motorists can detour onto Ind. 265 westbound to Charlestown Road to Ind. 265 eastbound to I-65 southbound.
Message boards will be present to warn motorists of the closure. All work is weather dependent.
Ramp resurfacing and repair is part of the $3.9 million pavement restoration project on Ind. 265 in Clark County. The project is expected to be complete by June 2020.
