The 2018 Employee Happiness Survey by 15Five, an employee performance company, showed over one-third (38 percent) of the 1,000 workers surveyed were just "OK" or unhappy at their current job. More than half (56 percent) of those unhappy workers said they felt undervalued at work. Results of the @Work Survey, a quarterly online poll of over 8,000 professionals by CNBC and SurveyMonkey, were more optimistic. Eighty-five percent of respondents in the first quarter of 2019 said they were very or somewhat satisfied with their jobs. But not everything was rosy: 27 percent said they weren't well-paid and 30 percent said they seriously considered quitting their job in the last three months.
