• Favorite, or proudest, athletic moment: In 2011, I hit a walk-off single, along with a home run, in the [Little League] district finals against Silver Creek. We advanced to the state finals, and I was the starting pitcher. We won state by a score of 10-4.

• Favorite movie: The Greatest Game Ever Played

• Favorite food: Mac and cheese.

• Go-to pregame snack: Subway.

• Favorite athlete: Eddie Pepperell.

• Hobbies: Watching Netflix, bowling and dog-loving.

• Persons who have had the greatest influence on my athletic career: My old tennis coach, Bob Dusch. He constantly gave amazing advice, tennis-related or life-related, that has had an influence on me to do the right things. Also, my dad had great influence on my athletic career. As a golf coach himself, he was the one that introduced me to the game of golf as a very young kid. We are always talking about ways to improve my game, and he is always encouraging.

• Hidden talent: I’m a monster at cornhole, even though I play about twice a year.

• Best advice I’ve ever been given: You don’t rise to the occasion, you revert back to your training.

• Best advice I can give younger athletes: Give every part of the game 110 percent, even in practice. You never know how much hard work and focus will pay off.

• What high school athletics have meant to me: They mean an unbelievable amount to me. There is nothing more important to me than representing New Albany High School, not only by achieving athletically, but also representing with as much class and leadership as possible.

• College plans: I plan on playing golf at Marian University, along with studying pre-veterinary medicine.
