Silver Creek to have awards night
The Silver Creek High School Fall Sports Awards Night will be Monday at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. All fall student-athletes and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Taekwondo tourney to take place Saturday
Back’s American Taekwondo Association Black Belt Academy and Karate For Kids invites you to share in the excitement of southern Indiana’s first ATA Regional Tournament.
The “Tournament of Legends” will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Southern Indiana Sports Center, located at 620 Park East Blvd. in New Albany, next to the IUS campus.
More than 500 competitors from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and all over the United States will converge on New Albany to participate in an exciting display of martial arts action including taekwondo traditional forms, sparring, and weapons competitions. Competitors will earn points toward state and national championships, and there will be many former and current champions competing.
Entrance fee is $5 and kids ages 5 and under get in free. For more information, visit the school at 706 E. Lewis and Clark Pkwy. in Clarksville or call 284-5425 Monday through Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
