LOCAL COLLEGE ATHLETE UPDATE

Emily Albert (Anderson): The Christian Academy graduate is a rising junior forward on the women’s soccer team. As a sophomore, she started 10 of 16 matches and tallied five shots, including two on goal.

Bennett Beyl (Franklin): The Silver Creek graduate is a rising junior wide receiver on the football team. Last season the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder recorded five receptions for 139 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 19.9 yards per game and 27.8 yards per catch for the Grizzlies.

Ian Francisco (Kentucky Wesleyan): The Jeffersonville graduate is a rising senior offensive lineman on the football team. Last season, the 6-3, 290-pound Francisco played in 11 games for the Panthers.

Dillon Freiberger (Ball State): The Floyd Central graduate is a rising sophomore on the men’s swimming & diving team. As a freshman, he compiled times of 1 minute, 49.05 seconds in the 200 freestyle, 4:53.51 in the 500 free and 16:49.74 in the 1,650 free at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

Henry Lang (Centre): The Floyd Central graduate is a rising sophomore on the men’s swimming & diving team. As a freshman, he earned All-Southern Athletic Association second-team honors and was a one-time SAA Swimmer of the Week. At the SAA Championships, he took sixth in the 500 freestyle and swam the opening leg of the Colonels’ runner-up 800 free relay team.

Madison Riley (Oglethorpe): The New Albany graduate is a rising sophomore midfielder on the women’s soccer team. As a freshman she played in 16 matches, starting 15 for the Stormy Petrels. She tallied two points on two assists while taking 11 shots.

Renee Sisloff (Anderson): The Floyd Central graduate is a rising sophomore defender on the women’s soccer team. As a freshman she played in eight matches and took one shot on goal.
