PHOTOS: St. Anthony of Padua wins New Albany Deanery track & field championship

On Sunday the St. Anthony of Padua School’s sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys’ track & field team won the 2021 New Albany Deanery Championship. It was the 13th straight win for the Bears under head coach David Braden, who has been a track coach at SAS for 22 years. He first started coaching in 2000, when his daughter, Jenilyn, was in fourth grade. Once his daughter graduated, Braden began coaching the boys’ team.
