Area players make all-HHC team
Eight area players have been named to the all-Hoosier Hills Conference team for the 2005 season.
Jeffersonville has four players on the squad, who are senior offensive lineman Brandon Waterhouse, senior running back Trea Burgess and senior defensive backs Najee Overton and John Hickerson.
Senior defensive lineman David Bennett, junior running back James Renton and senior defensive back Doug Gettelfinger represented Floyd on the squad. It was the second time Bennett has made the team.
Senior wide receiver Chris Farley was New Albany’s lone all-HHC player. Jeff sophomore defensive lineman Chris Zelli and New Albany junior Josh Wells each made the honorable-mention list.

New Wash boosters to have meeting
The New Washington High School Athletic Booster Club will have a meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the school’s media center.
The agenda includes approval of the club’s constitution and bylaws and election of new officers.
